Annual Open House and Garden Tour- This Weekend!

If you are local to the SF Bay Area, my annual Open House and Garden Tour is this Mother’s Day Weekend. In my other life, I’m a landscape designer, creating hummingbird, butterfly, and bee gardens, and so I like to share my garden while selling art! :D Come by and shop for art while you also learn about plants, bees, and our 7 types of fruit trees (many multi-graft)!

We’ll have my tent up in my patio, with all my art out on display. My studio will be open, with additional unframed pieces available. And we’ll be doing a little show and tell with my wife’s bee hives from 2-3 pm each day. She’ll be putting on the bee suit (and we actually have a few extras, if you want to put one on too!), smoking the bees to calm them down, and opening things up to share. The whole weekend should be lots of fun.

Last year, we had over 100 visitors over the weekend, with many happy buyers going home with new art! This year, I am framing my work in a new and exciting way— I have mounted my watercolors to cradle boards and spray varnished them. They’re lightweight, rigid, waterproof, and ready to hang with no glass between you and the art! If you want to put a frame on them, you can do so just like you would with a normal oil painting.
