This post shares the live recording from my demo last week, which was part of my fundraiser for BLM.

First, I just want to say that the fundraiser has been a fantastic success. Far greater than I would have thought! Between the 5 paintings that were purchased, the donations that were made, and the matching funds I put forward as a carrot, we’re raised 2,585$ so far. It is very humbling and gratifying to be part of something that is really doing good. :) 100% of all the money raised will be going to the National Black Justice League— an organization that represents LGBTQ+ Black Americans.

A great thank you to Kay Cummins, Jacqueline Pankuck, Jupe Schiavo, Donna Schiavo for purchasing paintings, and to Ann Fitch, Laura Kapp, Sheila Berman, Christian Adu, Karin Hartog, John Pluhar, Jackie Lawrence, Vivian Hsu, and Katherine Rice for donating. All amounts are apprecaited.

But the fundraiser isn’t over yet!! Up until the end of the month (Tuesday, June 30th), I will continue to sell the paintings from last weeks post, and this new one from last week’s demo, and I’ll also be receiving any donations that folks would still like to give.
