Two Zoom Demonstrations coming up this week!
I have two zoom demonstrations coming up this week, and I wanted to share the info about them both with you here. Additionally, I’m going to be starting a Black Lives Matter fundraiser with the zoom demo that I’ll be doing next Saturday, the 21st. More on that below…

Live Zoom Demo and Paint Along with the CWA-
Wednesday 6/17, 700-900 pm
The California Watercolor Association is hosting this demo, and, thus, it’s selective only for CWA members. If you’re a CWA member and didn’t know about it, now’s a good time to go to their website, login, and find all the pertinent info. If you’ve been thinking of joining, now’s a good time to join up and have a nice little short-term perk. :) It’s 45$ annually.

This demo is special in part because it’s intended to be a paint along. I’ll be painting the photo at the top of this post. Members will get a supply list, info on making a preparatory notan, and the opportunity to then paint along with me for the two hour demo. Should be fun! :)
Black Lives Matter Zoom Demo- Fundraiser Kickoff!
Saturday 6/20, 100-300
Next Saturday, I’m kicking off a fundraiser which will continue through the end of the month. If you’re deeply moved by what’s going on in the US, and are as disturbed, angry, or saddened as I am… if you are looking for a way to help but have felt paralyzed by the avalanche of information and news, I would like to facilitate that impulse to help. My goal is provide a path for each of us to help others. To make it easy.
This fundraiser will have a three-pronged approach. First, I’ll be doing this zoom demo. I’ll be asking for donations, and any I receive will be 100% donated. Second, I will have a select set of recent paintings that I’ll be offering up for sale at a reduced price for the remainder of June. It’s a great chance to pick up a painting for yourself, or to get one as a gift! Any sales go 100% to donations. Thirdly, I will be matching any donations or sales made for the remainder of June, up to 1000$.
All donations will be going to the National Black Justice Coalition. This is an organization that provides support not only for people of color, but also specifically for people of color who are part of the LBGTQ community. So, it’s a nice two for one for Pride Month as well. I’ll give more info on this next week.
