Carmel 2016 Plein Air Art Festival

This is just a quick post to let others know I'll be heading down to Carmel-by-the-Sea to participate in the annual plein air festival this weekend.  It's a juried festival.  So, I submitted my work and was one of the 60 lucky ones chosen to participate.  If you'd like to meet up or see (or buy!) my work, I'll have my paintings up and will be around.  I'll be heading down tomorrow and will be painting plein air in the area over the next few days, but the festival begins in earnest for the public on Saturday, and wraps up in the afternoon on Sunday.  Many really wonderful painters of a variety of mediums come from all over the US to participate, as well as some international painters.  Oils, acrylics, pastel, and... yes, watercolors too.

Here's a link to the site, for those who are interested in an artsy outing to the seaside!  You can browse older years and see some of the work from the past, as well as the pricing range.  A portion of all the proceeds funds local art programs for kids.  Perhaps I'll see some of you there!  :)
